Learn it You can multiply in any order. Any number × 1 is itself. Any number × 0 is 0.

Example: Use the properties: $6 \times 3$, $3 \times 6$, $25 \times 1$, $25 \times 0$.

  1. $6 \times 3 = 18$ and $3 \times 6 = 18$: the order doesn't change the answer.
