Questions at easy, medium and hard levels. Pick a level and get a fresh set every time, with instant feedback.
Learn it If a pattern goes up by the same amount d each time, its rule is $dn + c$, where n is the term number. Find c from the first term.
Example: Find the rule for 7, 11, 15, 19, … and the 50th term.
- It goes up by 4, so the rule starts $4n$.
- Term 1: $4 \times 1 = 4$, but the pattern starts at 7, so add 3: $4n + 3$.
- Term 50: $4 \times 50 + 3 = 203$.
