Learn it Reflect in x-axis: (x, −y). In y-axis: (−x, y). Rotate 180°: (−x, −y). Rotate 90° clockwise: (y, −x). 90° counterclockwise: (−y, x).
Example: Rotate (3, −5) 90° counterclockwise about the origin.
- Rule: (x, y) → (−y, x).
- −y = −(−5) = 5, and x = 3.
