Learn it With parallel lines and a transversal, corresponding (F), alternate (Z) and vertically opposite angles are equal; co-interior (C) angles and angles on a line add to 180°.

Example: Find x.

110°x
  1. The two angles are on the same side, between the parallel lines: a C shape.
  2. TPT-C: they add to 180°.
  3. x = 180 − 110 = 70°.
