Tip A quick way to do these in your head
Different denominators: find a common one first. 3/4 − 1/6 → twelfths: 9/12 − 2/12 = 7/12. Dividing: multiply by the flipped fraction, 3/5 ÷ 2/3 = 3/5 × 3/2 = 9/10.
