Privacy Policy

The short version

• You can use all the free practice without an account. Progress is then saved only in your own browser.
• Parent accounts are for parents and guardians. We ask for a parent's email and a child's first name and grade only. We never ask children for their email or contact details.
• We never sell your information or show advertising.
• You can delete your account and all saved progress at any time from the account page.

Who we are

The Math Meridian provides free online math practice and live online tutoring. Contact us at [email protected].

Information we collect

Without an account. Scores, stars, badges and settings are stored in your browser on your device (local storage). They are not sent to us.

With a parent account. Your email address; for each child, a first name (or nickname) and grade; and the child's practice progress (skills practised, scores, mastered skills, drill results and badges), so it can follow your child to other devices.

Booking a free assessment. The details you type in the form: your name, email, phone number (optional), your child's first name and grade, your time zone and your message.

Website statistics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (for example, which pages are visited and which features are used). It uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and pages viewed. It does not tell us who you are.

How we use it

• To provide the practice, save progress and show it to you.
• To send sign-in codes, the weekly progress email (if it is turned on) and replies to your requests.
• To prepare for a free assessment you have booked.
• To improve the site.

Who helps us run the site

We use trusted service providers who store or process information for us and may not use it for anything else: Cloudflare (website hosting), Supabase (accounts and saved progress), Resend (sending emails), Google (Analytics and forms). Their servers may be outside your country.

Children

Accounts are created and managed by a parent or guardian. Children practise under their parent's account using only a first name or nickname. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Keeping and deleting information

• Account and progress: kept until you delete them. Use Delete my account on the account page, or email us.
• Booking requests: kept for up to 24 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
• Weekly emails: turn them off with the link in any email or on the account page.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you or your child. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
