Learn it Add matrices entry by entry. Multiply row by column: entry (i, j) of AB is row i of A dotted with column j of B. A matrix can hold data, like prices × quantities.
Example: Two shops sell (pens, books): Shop A sells (10, 4), Shop B (6, 7). Prices: pen $2, book $5.
- Revenue = [10 4; 6 7] × [2; 5].
- A: 20 + 20 = $40. B: 12 + 35 = $47.
