Find an angle using inverse trig
Questions at easy, medium and hard levels. Pick a level and get a fresh set every time, with instant feedback.
Learn it If you know two sides, find the ratio, then use the inverse function on a calculator (sin⁻¹, cos⁻¹ or tan⁻¹) to get the angle.
Example: Opposite 7, adjacent 10. Find θ.
- Opposite and adjacent → tan.
- $\tan\theta = \frac{7}{10} = 0.7$.
- $\theta = \tan^{-1}(0.7) \approx 35^\circ$.
